Peter Wade Anderson Biography
(1975 - )

Peter Wade Anderson is the son of Margaret and Jim Anderson and has literally grown up at the pottery. In 1999 he joined his father in the Shearwater workshop, and is quite the accomplished potter. To distinguish his pottery from that of his father’s he marks his with his initials PWA. He has inherited from his father and grandfather a penchant for the experiments that have created the magnificent Shearwater glazes, and as well as throwing original pieces. Peter also glazes a majority of the pottery that goes to the showroom.

Peter and his wife Brigette reside in Ocean Springs, MS, and have two children, McConnell and Abigail.
